Add these 7 miracle supplements to your daily regimen, and take your health (and beauty!!) to newer and NOTICEABLE heights! And I'm not talking about multi-vitamins, I'm talking about the SUPER SEVEN!

1.) Acidophilus
Acidophilus is a probiotic that promotes intestinal health. Merriam-Webster describes it as a microorganism that maintains or restores beneficial bacteria to the digestive tract. Acidophilus works well enough to fend off yeast infections. It also allows your body to better absorb nutrients. It is widely believed that your immune system's health starts with your gut. Personally, for myself and my family, acidophilus has stopped a stomach virus in its track. Also, I always carry this with me, especially when traveling.
2. Vitamin D
Vitamin D is one of those vitamins that we tend to forget about. For those who just take their daily vitamins, there's normally only a smidgen of Vitamin D or none at all in the pill. Regardless, we're not getting our needed fix. One of the most overlooked problems associated with fatigue is a deficiency in vitamin D. Vitamin D also helps prevent bone fractures, weak hair and nails, and promotes heart health. Aside from taking your daily supplement, make sure you get in some natural light! Try to get about 10-30 minutes of good sunlight (normally the afternoon hours when the sun is right in the middle of the sky!) about 3-5 days per week.
3. Curcumin
When I first researched this, I was like cur-who??? I'd never heard of it, but was desperate to heal my ailing joints. What I didn't know, was all of the other added benefits that I got from taking this supplement. When you say curcumin, think rich mustardy-gold powder that's found in most Indian kitchens; as it is also the main ingredient in turmeric and curry. Its proven capabilities are profound and rewarding to the body and mind. Curcumin is a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. It has a reputation for improving brain functionality, lowering the risk of heart disease, helping to prevent cancer, healing rheumatoid arthritis, treating depression and may even help treat or prevent Alzheimer's. After about 2 weeks of taking this supplement, I was noticeably able to bend my knees easier and the pain from the joints in my hands, diminished. I consider curcumin GOLD, but in powder form!
4. Black Cumin Seed Oil
If I consider curcumin a powder form of gold, then I consider black cumin seed oil LIQUID GOLD! Where do I start with this one??! Allergies, asthma, headaches, high blood pressure, arthritis??? It's almost a cover-all. A primary source of thymoquinone, an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, black cumin seed oil can be used topically or taken in capsule form. For the cancer patient, this may be the most intriguing benefit: it induces cell death in breast cancer, brain cancer, and leukemia cells. In diabetics, it helps regulate and improve blood sugar levels. It also improves the functionality and may decrease problems with the liver and kidneys. Those who suffer from acne, psoriasis, and eczema may also find black cumin seed oil beneficial for their skin when applied topically. Black cumin seed oil has been in use for thousands of years and is a highly regarded supplement today because of its undeniable benefits. However, black cumin seed oil capsules can leave you burping the aftertastes over an hour after you've consumed it. I've tried different capsules on the market, and the one that didn't bother me at all is listed below!! I also listed the liquid that can be used topically.
5. Biotin
I'm sure most of you know where I'm going with this.... Yes, girl! My hair and my nails!! Those who are familiar with the brutal side-effects of chemo, knows that it takes every single hair from your body ANNND it causes you to have some really brittle, cracked, broken, chipped nails- complete nail loss in some cases. ANNND those who know all of that, knows that it takes time... a long time for them to come back. So, to aid in the process, I'd thought I'd give my body one of the best supplements to help me get there, biotin. An added benefit? It helps boost functionality of the eyes, liver, and nervous system.
6. Collagen
Collagen is one of my favorites! It helps give me glowing skin by improving my skin's elasticity. It also works with the biotin in improving the health of my hair and nails. Most importantly though, it helps alleviate the pain I experience in my joints. And more good news... collagen helps prevent bone loss, boosts muscle mass, and helps improve heart health. I just add one small scoop to my morning coffee, or smoothie, or chocolate milk, or orange juice, or oatmeal, or....anything! It literally dissolves and has no taste!
7. Ashwagandha
Lastly, but only because it's the last supplement that I take everyday, it's the lovely ashwagandha root. About an hour before bedtime, I take this supplement to get my beauty rest off to a good start. It helps induce and improve the quality of sleep, reduces anxiety and stress, and helps to fight depression. In the beginning, the hormone therapy left me feeling crazy and irate some days. I stumbled upon this jewel while researching for natural solutions. I must admit, I compare myself to a duck since I added ashwagandha to my regimen; things rarely upset me because I just let things roll off of my back (like a duck...lol!). But, the most important benefit is that it disrupts the functionality of cancer cells and helps them from resisting cell death.
