IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU!

Hello there, I'm Lauren, a digital content creator and cancer survivorship coach. Ever heard the saying, 'It takes one to know one'? Well, I've been there and back, as I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2018, followed by stage 3 colon cancer in 2021. Just when you thought one bout of cancer was enough excitement for a lifetime, in 2022, I found myself juggling two stage 4 cancers, that overlapped, simultaneously, after both cancers returned and spread. They say my prognosis was about 10 months, but I've been defying those odds ever since!

 

It's not in my nature to thrive alone when millions face the same challenges each year. So I combined my past work history in social services with my passion for research, and completed the patient navigator course at Georgetown University. Currently, I'm on the quest for the distinguished LION certification from the American Cancer Society.

 

My vision? To reshape how we view cancer – from a formidable foe to a manageable hurdle. We're not just surviving; we're thriving and crafting lives of quality by defying the odds stacked against us all!
